Definition of Terms

Account Overview Metrics

• Article Galaxy Transactions (Pie Chart): represents the distribution of transactions accumulated over the indicated time period.
• Total Transactions: represents the total number of transactions accumulated over the indicated time period.
• Article Spend: represents the total expenditure (in USD) accumulated over the indicated time period.
• Active Users: represents total number of active users on your account.

Type of Transactions (Pie Chart Details)

• Document Delivery Purchases:  reprsents the transactions in which an article (PDF) was delivered by us, which typically results in a charge.
• PDF Library - Repository: represents the transactions in which an article is already owned, avoiding duplicates purchases.
• Subscription Bounceback: represents the transactions in which the requested article is likely part of a customers subscriptions and one of the following actions occurs:
  1. 1. 1.  Stop the standard document delivery process within Article Galaxy and notify a 'Customer Admin' that there is an order requiring their attention. This item is likely accessible within the organizations subscriptions and will be completed by the 'Customer Admin'.
        2. Stop the standard document delivery process within Article Galaxy and allow the Reprints Desk/Research Solutions systems and/or staff to fulfill the requested article from a customers subscription access.
• Publisher PPV/Tokens - represents the transactions in which the requested article is likely part of a customers PPV/Token package and one of the following actions occurs:
  
  1. 1. 1. Stop the standard document delivery process within Article Galaxy and notify a 'Customer Admin' that there is an order requiring their attention. This item is likely accessible within the organizations Pay-Per-View Token package and will be completed by the 'Customer Admin'.
        2. Stop the standard document delivery process within Article Galaxy and allow the Reprints Desk/Research Solutions systems and/or staff to fulfill the requested article from a customers Pay-Per-View Token package.
• Article Galaxy+ - represents the transactions in which an article (PDF) was delivered by us, and that article was included in the organizations Article Galaxy+ package.
• Rental - represents the transactions in which an article was requested and completed as a rental within the designated time period.
• Cancelled: represents the transactions in which an article was cancelled. Typically, cancelled orders are those items requested by the user or the admin to be cancelled.
• Other: is a general description showing those transactions that do not fall into any of the typical transaction types that we do report. These items are rare.
