Now to the business at hand:
ARTICLE GALAXY RELEASE NOTES
OPEN ACCESS FILTER - Filtering your requests for Open Access (FREE) content:
The Open Access Filter is a setting that can be ‘switched on’ for those that are interested. For our customers that have it activated, we will run every article request through the Open Access Filter and our platform will determine if that particular article is available via Open Access today. If the article is Open Access today, we will forward a linkout to the publisher’s ‘article level’ page.

NEW TOKEN MANAGEMENT PROGRAM – Informa, Karger, and more soon:
Our token pilot was a great success and we have moved it to a full blown service. So, are you using or planning to purchase tokens from Informa, Karger or others as a way to reduce document delivery expenditures? Now we can help to manage this workflow. With our Token Management Program we will deliver documents via the normal delivery process and report usage back to the publisher for token decrementation. So, buy directly from the publishers for their best rates and let us deliver to your users for a small reduced service fee.

SAML 2.0 SINGLE SIGN ON (SSO) – For better Article Galaxy access & control
SAML SSO is an XML-based protocol that uses security tokens to securely pass information about your end user to a supplier like Reprints Desk. This new method of access supplements current offerings such as web services, email and username/password options. It simplifies user management and provides end users with even more convenient access to our feature-rich online Article Galaxy system by authenticating authorized users so they can access Article Galaxy without having to remember yet another username and password.
